Risk groups
Create or edit a risk group
Open New Risk Group or choose Edit on a non-linked group. You can set fields such as title and description, then save. Successful saves show toast confirmations such as Risk group created. or Risk group updated.Add a child group (composition)
Use Add Child Group (wording may appear as Add Child Risk Group in the modal) to pick an existing bank group to compose under a parent group. If there are no valid groups to pick, the confirm action stays disabled until a valid selection exists.Archive a group
Archiving a group is immediate and shows a success toast such as Risk group archived.Remove a linked child group
Removing a linked composition shows a success toast such as Linked risk group removed. If the link record cannot be removed, you see an error message.Hazards
Create a hazard
Use New Hazard to capture hazard fields such as title, description, impact area, likelihood, severity, and primary staff responsibility. New hazard creation may attach the hazard to the selected group as part of the same flow.Edit a hazard
Use Edit on a hazard to update its fields.Attach an existing hazard
Use Attach Existing Hazard to pick a hazard that already exists in the bank but is not already attached to the group.Archive a hazard
If a hazard is not shared broadly, archive actions may run immediately with a toast such as Hazard archived. If a hazard is shared, you may see an Archive Hazard disposition panel with choices such as:- Archive This Record (archive only the link for this group)
- Archive All Records (archive the hazard everywhere)
Controls
Create or edit a control
Use Add Control or Edit on a control to set fields such as title, description, primary staff responsibility, and schedule timing (before, during, or after). Successful saves show toasts such as Control created. or Control updated.Archive a control
Archiving shows a toast such as Control archived.Common failure messages
- Unable to save risk group
- Unable to save hazard
- Unable to save control
- Unable to attach hazard
- Unable to add child group
- Unable to archive hazard
Permissions and read-only behaviour
If you cannot perform writes, expect these modals and menu actions to error on submit even though they may still appear in the interface.Tips
- Prefer Archive This Record when a hazard should disappear from one group but remain valid elsewhere.
- Use Attach Existing Hazard when multiple groups share the same underlying hazard definition.
- After large edits, scan the tree with search to confirm names and linkage look correct.
